The HANSA-FLEX name has been synonymous with quality and innovation since 1962. Although it is a global company with a constantly growing product portfolio, HANSA-FLEX still sees itself as a family company – and always will. The company’s strategic management is carried out by a three-person board of directors chaired by Thomas Armerding, son of the founder Joachim Armerding.
Thomas Armerding has been managing HANSA-FLEX since the mid-1990s. Originally a banker by profession, Armerding is the son of the company’s founder, Joachim Armerding. He joined the company as a trainee in 1986 and worked in all departments at the Bremen headquarters. In 1989, he was appointed manager of the Oldenburg branch. In 1994, he became managing director alongside Uwe Buschmann. The international establishment and growth of HANSA-FLEX are largely due to his initiative.
Florian Wiedemeyer was appointed to the board as CFO in January 2022. A business graduate (FH), Wiedemeyer began working at HANSA-FLEX in October 2000 as part of a dual-degree program. After continuing his in-service training, he established a company-wide reporting system and took on the task of creating and managing the Controlling Department. Since 2013, as Head of the Accounting and Controlling Department, he has made significant contributions to the company’s success story in recent years.
