Fluid and Line Technology Training

Education is the best way to combat the shortage of qualified personnel. HANSA-FLEX actively transfers knowledge from experienced experts to apprentices, employees and customers. HANSA-FLEX offers training and education in the field of fluid and line technology, as well as training programmes for hydraulic specialists together with its partner, the International Hydraulic Academy (IHA).

Expert Knowledge in Theory and Practice

You can prevent damage and downtime by taking advantage of the know-how of HANSA‑FLEX fluid experts

Training from first principles to refresher courses

The range of courses and seminars from HANSA-FLEX and IHA is aimed at people whose daily work involves hydraulics. The hydraulic training offered ranges from the basic level to much deeper specialist knowledge in individual topics such as project planning or system maintenance. Practice-oriented training provides an opportunity to try out the theory learned in earlier courses. An important qualification for people working in hydraulics is training to become an officially authorised person in accordance with BetrSichV and TRBS 1203-2019. For experienced employees, there are refresher courses to bring their knowledge up to the current state of the art in terms of engineering, application and safety. All training is provided by certified experts.

Training and use of state-of-the-art technology

All IHA locations have modern and fully equipped seminar rooms and hydraulic training benches with state-of-the-art technology in Linz, Stockstadt and Dresden. Here, participants enjoy learning about daily tasks on hydraulic systems and how to design them to be more efficient, safer and better serve their purpose. Special mention should be made of the training provided at Coreum in Stockstadt am Rhein. At the Coreum centre, which has several small construction sites specially set up for training, HANSA-FLEX and IHA are also joined by machine manufacturers. Participants can apply their acquired hydraulic knowledge directly in practice under real conditions, which helps them to consolidate what they have learned.

In-house seminars at IHA or on the customer’s premises

IHA can provide training at various locations in Germany and abroad, as well as in-house training. This training can be carried out at a nearby HANSA-FLEX branch or on the customer’s premises. If you are interested in training for your personnel or have any questions about training, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to help you.

Participants grasp the design principles of a hydraulic system. This covers the design, function and symbols of typical components in industrial hydraulics, the connection of components in hydraulic circuit diagrams, and the basics of troubleshooting.

The advanced seminar includes topics such as the design and functions of special components in industrial hydraulics, the selection of hydraulic components, how to draw basic circuit diagrams, connections in circuit diagrams and hydraulic circuits, and the construction and testing of basic circuits.

After this training, participants can be designated as competent persons for inspections by their employer. Among other things, they learn to work with the most important standards, directives and the requirements of employer’s liability insurance associations regarding hydraulic line equipment.
